İsmet Himmet
İsmet Himmet (You Li Han) is one of the world's outstanding masters in Chinese internal martial arts and is the founder of WDP. Through the trainings and seminars he has been giving around the world for many years, he ensures that these arts are recognized, known and practiced in a way that is worthy of their SOURCE.
He trained in various places in China and especially spent many years learning and teaching internal martial arts in Wudang Mountains, which can be referred to as the source of “Internal Kung Fu”. He was the first Westerner teacher to open a Kung Fu school in China (Wudang Mountains and Hainan Island). He now has many students and representatives all around the world and the instructors in Türkiye continue their classes as a part of this beautiful community.
Biography
1985, He started training in Martial Arts.
1999, He earned his Kung-fu teacher certificate.
2000-2005, He received long-term martial arts training in China.
2006, He started teaching internal martial arts as a highly qualified teacher.
2006, He opened the FIRST EVER "martial arts academy" in the WEST (Berlin, Germany) and established “Wudang Germany” organisation. This academy became a boarding school in 2007. It provided eight hours of training per day with the opportunity to live there.
2007 - 2013, He earned Tai Ji Championship 7 times in a row.
2011, He became the first foreigner to open a Chinese Kung-fu and internal martial arts academy in China. Established the Worldwide operating WDP (Wudang Principles). For seven years, he and his students gave authentic and intensive trainings and educations in Wudang.
2014, He earned European Championship in Traditional Wudang Sword Style.
2014 - 2018, He taught and trained Chinese police forces in China in the "soft method" to control/examine the suspects.
He is the founder of “İsmet Himmet Chinese Boxing”.
