The Wudang Sword (Jian) art is a special system that is one of the internal styles of Wudang Mountains. It combines the sword's soft and harmonious movements with sharp and target-focused lines. The foundations of this art lay on one hand in the use of the sword and wrist, and on the other hand, especially in the control of the body while in a dynamic state. The 13 Principles of the sword, synthesized with the "5 body dynamics principle" rooted in ancient Daoist philosophy, create a comprehensive practice and application system consisting of mystical and fluid movements. In the first section of the Ismet Himmet Wudang Sword System, the most fundamental swordsmanship skills and the first set of the 13 Principles are taught.
Practices with sword are also a journey to inner self and spirit. It is a journey to discover your true self through the unique Wudang Sword and Meditation practice...Besides being a unique weapon used only by top legendary warriors in ancient times, sword also is a tool that cuts and removes negative energies from your spirit and surroundings.
Practicing with a sword every day allows the practitioner to clear their mind and set clear and safe goals. It helps them learn to distinguish right from wrong and guides them to make quality decisions in the most critical situations.
A sword is much more than a weapon to fight with..
